My parents bought me a guitar 2 Christmases ago. Her name is Roxanne and she is beautiful. Honestly, my skills are terrible. Perhaps my fingers are fat, slow, and have other difficulties. Or perhaps I don't have the rhythm necessary needed to strum the right way. Either way, I'm bad. I brought Roxanne with me because I wanted to work on my skills in my free time (haha!) and use it as a stress reliever.
Today I rediscovered the wonderful-ness of singing worship songs in English. Not that I haven't sung ANY songs in English, but I don't take out ENOUGH time to do that when I'm alone. It was a great start to my Sunday morning when I "pretty please" asked a fine gentlemen in California to play some songs for me via Skype. Ah....worship songs in English on Sunday morning. I knew the words.....how to pronouced each one of them and the exact meaning! There are times that I absolutely LOVE singing in Armenian and there is something very precious about worshipping in another language. BUT. Worship in your heart language is something else entirely!
Tonight, after dealing with some "work" related issues, I knew it was time to dust off Roxanne and play horribly and loud for all to hear. I enjoyed it thoroughly and I need to make sure and do it more often.
"You've no other such a friend or brother, tell it to Jesus alone."

Whoo hoo! Love that you are getting to play Roxanne! She's very pretty and I bet your playing... well at least your singing is very pretty too!
Glad I could help. I enjoyed having a little worship time with you. Feel free to "pretty please" ask anytime.
Yes, you must give pretty Roxanne her due time. AND you MUST sing. As I put YOUR CD in while Laurie and I were driving to Tulsa, I said," I might cry (tears of joy). I was just so thrilled to hear your voice and I thought, She Must Sing. God gave Her This Talent" for her to bring enjoyment and a message to others and for her (you) to have personal joy and happiness.
