A new beginning.
Remember Tamara? She one of my best English students and attends almost every class. I had the chance to talk to her for a long time last month and shared with her my story and the Good News.
Fast forward.....
We had our monthly women's event tonight and Tamara (who is about 15) came and also brought her mother, Gaya. Her mom used to come to English class, but has recently been too busy. I was happy to see them both and her mother and I expressed that we had missed each other.
As the event was closing, I asked Gaya is she was acquainted with my supervisor. Since she wasn't, I introduced them and God began to work. She talked to Gaya and Tamara for qutie some time and it became clear they wanted a new life, a new start with Him. They were so happy to pray with us. Tamara had tears streaming down her face....tears of joy, and in my opinion they were also tears of surrender. I believe she will be used in a mighty way if she remains open and available to Him.
Tamara said, "Do you remember when we talked that time and you told me to go home and pray? Well, I didn't. I was scared. But now....." And she began to cry.
Not very many people came to the event tonight, which is really unusual. But apparently, God had ordained exactly who he wanted there. The lesson tonight was about Esther.
And "for such a time as this" Tamara and Gaya were brought into the presence of the King.

Your suprevisors' prayers, yours and others were felt by my sister(your aunt). She said that she knew that she was being prayed for by people all over the world. She is out of intensive care and in a private room on the oncology floor. Praise the Lord. The power of many prayers gives strength and peace to those that call until Him. Keep up the prayers. thanks!
That's so awesome. It's amazing how God is working through you & your supervisors. Hopefully Tamara will be a great witness to those around her.
