Velveeta Cheese never tasted so good! We got a ton of goodies from the Americans while they were here, and tonight we indulged in Velveeta with Rotel with a side of American Idol. It was a marathon American Idol night as we caught up with the rest of the United States. I'm a pretty big fan this season.
This morning marked the end of my most recent stint as a "nanny". I spent a week with my supervisors' kids while their parents were away. Whew! Kids say really dumb things, really funny things, and they definitely ask a lot of questions! For the most part they were good, but I had to break out the whip last Sunday when I thought I had lost them! I let them go outside to play and told them to stay in a certain area.....an hour later when I wanted to call them inside, they were not in sight! I walked around the area calling their names and a few minutes later (which seemed like an eternity!) I found them. Boy was I mad! And relieved! Whew! Don't worry...they didn't get off easy. No tooth fairy, no chocolate chip cookies, and 50 sentences each was the punishment.
This past week was a good recovery week. In addition to teaching some English and nanny-ing, I spent some time resting, doing laundry, and cleaning since I had not done any of that lately!
Please continue to lift up my team and our work here. The most recent project is over, but there are still many things going on connected with it. The battle belongs to Him!

What a blessing it is to read your posts! I had tears streaming down my face as I read your descriptions of the work of our awesome God in your place. Thank you for taking us on the journey with you. Blessings to you and on your work.
I still love your blog! I just made my own and I put yours under blogs that engourage me. I have def. not been called to be a missionary, but I love getting to, in a small way, experience Armenia with you!
Velveeta cheese truly is one of the greatest flavors that exists in this world. Yeah you can make rotel or mac & cheese with other cheeses, but when velveeta is involved it just tastes so great!
I'm so glad that the Singing Men's visit to your country was such a success in many ways, and we know that the seeds that were planted will grow and blossom. Hey, I'm hungry right now for that dip, especially since it's Cinco de Mayo. Children are wonderful miracles. Just ask me!
