The Greatest Thing...

So, I mentioned before that we were going to have several Christmas outreach events. Well, we did. And they have been pretty amazing. We had a huge event for women of all ages on Dec 26th. About 100 women came! The place was packed as we played games and had silly activities. They also had the opportunity to write down what they want to give Jesus this year and lay it at the manger. Some young women believed for the first time and everyone had a wonderful time.

Next was the young adult event. We had some of our usual Saturday night crowd and also some new faces. This event also brought some young adults into the Kingdom.

Today was our youth event. Most of the kids that showed up were pre-teens and young teens and most were boys. This was a huge opportunity to speak to the future generation of this country. Some of these future leaders also prayed and accepted the greatest gift ever.

I'm just hoping that all of those prayers were genuine and sincere. I hope that we can begin to teach them how to live out their new faith. Many hearts are open to the Message!

We are about to embark on the biggest holiday for these people. New Year's is a huge event that lasts far more than just 1 day. It can last for 10 days or more. I will fill you in on more as I experience it. May this new year bring many people to their knees in reflection of their life...

What wonderful Christmas events. I would have loved to have been there. 100 women of all ages is great. Time with the people plus Truth (the Truth of God's Word) will make a difference in their lives. Making disciples of those who accepted will be the next step plus more time and Truth with the ones who attended. It's great that New Year's Celebrations will be a time to emphasize new lives.

This is such an uplifting post. I was really encouraged when I read it this morning. You've probably received a greater gift this Christmas than any of us here in the states could ever imagine.
