When all else fails, sing Jingle Bells...

I'm happy to report that my English Christmas Party went well. I had 30 of my students show up and a couple of friends they brought. I had students from all 4 of my different English groups and it was really fun to have them all together.

We sang Jingle Bells and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. We played Christmas bingo, Human Christmas Tree, Wrap a present in mittens and winter wear, and write a celebrity's Christmas list!

Then we had a "Happy Birthday Jesus" party where we sang Happy Birthday, and they learned a little bit about why we think Christmas is such an important holiday. I gave them a special Book that is in English and Armenian and also a film. We had cake and coffee and topped the night off with another round of Jingle Bells. I've never seen people who love Jingle Bells as much as they do!

Everyone seemed to have a good time. I even received a few gifts--presents for the teacher!
Yay for English parties!

Sounds like a great Christmas party. You thought up some really fun games. They needed those little wrist jingle bells. It is such a happy song. The Lord provided neat ways for you to minister to others. Oh, the girls are really pretty.
