What I know now....

Here is a list of all the things you should bring with you if you were to move to my country. There are of course many other items you can't get here, but these are the basics. Amusingly, most of them relate to food.

An oven thermometer
Your favorite seasoning packets (taco, spaghetti, alfredo, chili, you name it...)
Spices such as seasoned salt, cumin, all spice, nutmeg, etc etc
Cooking spray
Baking powder
Self rising yeast
Measuring cups/spoons
A made from scratch cookbook (Those cook books that tell you to add a package of this and that just don't cut it!)
Lots of freezer bags (and you should wash them after use to recycle)
A dish sponge with the kind of handle you can put soap in
A collection of holiday movies and plenty of other dvds
Febreeze
Possibly a vegetable peeler. Not sure if that one is available or not
Ibuprofen
cream of tartar
brown sugar
Powder forms of lemonade, Gatorade, or Crystal Lite

I know we sent a lot of that with you. My church ladies also sent more, and others going to Armenia brought things.. mostly clothes. So what did we forget that you want the most, and I'll be happy to send. Didn't get to send the "sponge" today but your cards are already on their way... to possibly arrive Jan. 12 at 1800 (I think) Hopefully they won't get stolen again. It cost a lot to send those important items. Love you much!Oh, it's already New Year's Day there as it is 5:30 pm New Year's Eve. Hope you got to have more fun dancing, etc. Oh, yes we are thankful that the hospital stays for both your aunt and dad have eventually had a good outcome. Thanks for all the Armenian prayers.
