So Saturday afternoon I was in my apartment and I heard some music coming from outside. I assumed it was blaring from someone's car. I just happened to go to my bedroom and the music was louder. It wasn't radio music. It was singing.....hmmm.....
I looked out my window to see a man facing my building singing at the top of his lungs. I couldn't make out the words. When he finished the song, he looked angry and started making strange angry gestures towards the building.
I said to my roommate, "Come and look! I think this guy is putting a curse on our building!" We stood at the window for a few minutes trying not to be seen. I quietly said, "C'mon guy, sing again!" And he did! This time we watched more carefully. Apparently people above us were throwing down money for him. So, I'm still not sure if he was cursing the building or not. Perhaps he was just cursing the people who were not giving coins. It's not that I've seen a lot of building cursing before, but for some reason that was my first reaction.
Either way, I was intrigued by the guy and enjoyed his voice. It was just another chance to say, "This does not happen back home!"

Maybe a woman lives in the building , and he was singing to her. It would be interesting to find out the title and words to what he was singing.... I think it was to a person (probably female) and not a building, but that's just me.
What are you talking about? That totally happens all the time here in the U.S.!
Okay, maybe not.
