It's Greek to Me.

Athens.
Day 1.

Pizza Hut. Pepperoni Lovers.
Starbucks.
Shopping. Yes.
Movie Theater. In English. Night at the Museum 2.
Yeah, baby.

I promised my supervisor I would not use the "It's greek to me" joke anymore. This blog post is the last time!

HA!

I love how your favorite things about Greece so far are all the American things you miss.

I know you; you're going to use that joke at least 7 more times before you get back to Armenia.

Athens is quite the huge bustling city isn't it? Be sure of your money. Daddy and I thought we were barely scraping up enough money to pay a cab driver when we actually paid him way too much... but it was late, and we were tired after coming back from Santorini. Rick Moore's sister and husband were Campus Crusade workers in Thessolonika several years ago. I guess that's the Thessolonians. We also found out that if you want a cab we were ignored trying to hail one, but if we asked the doorman at a hotel to get one, they came right away.

I hope you get to explore the islands. Santorini etc. Very beautiful places. I really want to go back. Great sailing there also. Enjoy the Greek salad and the other great food like the dip they make from cucumbers and yogurt. yummmm. Also the great feta cheese. try eating at a taverna on one of the islands. Love,The Old Art Teacher.

"Pital" you wouldn't believe how long I debated whether or not that was the correct spelling...

It's Greek To Me was the title of the newspaper article that told about our trip to Greece. (I didn't write it, but we are in the picture).
