It has been such a busy week! I gained a roommate, and a day later also welcomed a team from Tennessee. They were a great group. We did medical work and also lots of talking and drinking coffee in the villages.
We were really nervous about how we were going to "publicize" the medical clinic, but then God provided (of course). A friend of a friend has connections in a city office and she gave us a list of people who live in our neighborhood who needed medical care. It was so great to see new faces in the clinic. I was able to share with some of them and lots were interested in learning English.
I went out with the team to 3 different villages, which meant a lot of coffee, fruit, prayer, and yes--sharing the Message. Some received the Hope we offered!
Friday, the team helped us execute our monthly ladies event. It was all about Mary and Martha. For the Martha portion, we taught the ladies how to make brownies. And if you're going to teach the art of brownies, you have to let them sample. So....I helped prepare at least 10 pans of brownies! Whew! It was a good event with lots of new faces!!

Chocolate is always good as you well know. it sounds like a wonderful week as you were assisted and encouraged by the Tennessee team. How many were there? I like the drinking coffee (with flavored cream?), and 'snacks" and sharing.
I'm glad everything went well this week. I can't wait to experience all that with you.
See ya soon.
