When laughter and tears mingle....

I told you I probably wouldn't update until after the concerts were over, but I've gotta update! I just sat there 2 nights in a row with a smile on my face and tears running down my cheeks for several of the songs. What a JOY it is to hear them so beautifully, powerfully, and boldly.

Please continue to lift up the rest of the scheduled events. The Enemy is not going down without a fight. Stand in the gap for us!

Along with the men came many gifts! Thank you Mom and Dad, MeMa and Papa, Amy and Laura, Cody and Breanna, and the NSU BCM/Bob and Deb for sending things to me! It means so much, guys. It was so nice to get things from home! In addition to receiving packages from the above mentioned, the men brought us all SORTS of things we had been craving and asked for. They brought so many things we've been craving! YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Today was an interesting day! I didn't travel with the group for their concert tonight because I needed to stick around and teach my English class. Well, I had this annoying feeling that nobody was going to show up today and....I was right. So I sat around and 20-30 minutes after class was supposed to start, one of my favorite students comes in shyly and asks if we are having class. I told her that she was free to stick around and speak English with me if she wanted. She happily agreed so we just sat and chatted about baseball, government, movies, and...spiritual things. I knew Dad had been working on her heart and today was absolutely a divine appointment for me to speak with her. I gave her an English/Arm. book of John and a booklet that explains how to begin a relationship with the One who loves her so much. She said, "When you speak, I know you are speaking frankly because I can see it in your eyes. Thank you for speaking with me today. You are like an angel." ( I am not saying this to give myself any credit. It all goes to Him). I think she is going to pray soon. Those 2 hours spent with her absolutely warmed my heart. Remember Tamara as she is seeking to grasping what it means to invite Him in.

Thanks for the "thank you". I really wish I was there right now. I get excited just reading your blog so being there and experiencing the power of His Word in song would be thrilling. That's so neat that you had 1-1 time with Tamara. I'm very proud of you!

As a hopeless music nerd, I am so jealous of you. I would love to be at those concerts. They sound like people are really enjoying them.

Yahoo for American stuff! I'm glad that you and the other yanks got some goodies. Nothing like a little taste of home to make you appreciate the little things.

Its really cool how God can use the majority's inconsistency to bring a 1 on 1 encounter for His glory!

Wow !!! What a moving blog. You must be in "hogs heaven" as we say in Oklahoma. I told papa about your e-mail and he was going to try to e-mail you. his adress is jwtubb@cox.net. He would love to hear from you. I told Brad Henderson to give you a big hug for me.I hope he gave you a big one. I wish I could sing so I could have been there. Love the old art teacher.

I can't wait for your next entry. I've looked at the detailed schedule each day so I know they just left for TA. I wish I could see pictures of the "memorial day".
