The enemy attacks....

Friends....

Please lift up my dear brothers and sisters here in Armenia.

My good friend Arax and her mother are spending their days and nights at the hospital. Arax's brother, Ben, is in the hospital. He suffered a grand mal seizure for 5-7 minutes and is now experiencing neurological problems. Healthcare here is totally inadequate. I went to visit them today and I walked away choking back the tears. That place is filled with so many hopeless people....all we can do is trust in the Great Physician. I love Arax dearly and to see her hurt for her brother makes me hurt.

My friends Haykush and Gorgan lost their cousin in a terrible car accident last night. He was a middle aged man. Gorgan had to go to the morgue and get the body...he was terribly shaken after seeing the horrific sight of badly broken bodies. (4 people died in that car accident).

My friend Lusine lost her great-aunt last night.

There are so many awesome things that we are expecting and planning here within the next month.....the enemy is doing everything he can to hinder that work. Please ask that these difficult situations would somehow bring Glory to Him. Also, lift us up as we need to be there for our brothers and sisters, but also need to be working on the many preparations for our upcoming projects.

I am so sorry... I'll be thinking about you all.

Glad you find some of our lessons helpful.

Love you.

It always seems that when God is getting ready to do something great, everything else seems to suddenly get worse. I'm praying for all those in your post as well as all the other members of your "family" who are preparing for the work to come.

"My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life."
Psalm 119:50

Sometimes it's difficult to stay strong in the midst of suffering through illness, accidents, and death. At that point, all we really have is God's Word and listening and talking with Him. Friends(like you) who will just be there (maybe not saying much) are important. I know you recognize that and are doing just that in your compassionate way. There's sometimes a feeling that you must stay with that person(s) and if you go away, you'll think you shouldn't have left. I am so very excited for the Singing Men and their wives as they arrive in Armenia. I wish I was going with that group! We will pray for the men and wives, and the people of Armenia of all levels of government, intellect, economnic conditions, and spiritually. We will pray that the 3 M's will be given many opportunities to share Love with the people.
