More fat.

I have gained so much weight since I came back to America....
boo.

When I first moved to Armenia, a friend at church told me that I was "less fat" than when she had met me the first time. I have a feeling that she would tell me that I am "more fat" again.

I am not usually so conscious about tracking the pounds, but it has been hitting me lately as I'm zipping my pants! I need to cut the portions and exercise more. Also, where I lived, it was normal to just walk up to a friend and tell them that they are getting fat. So, I think inside I'm just cringing...knowing that if my friends saw me, they would give some not so subtle encouragement.

I lost a ton of weight when I was overseas. In fact, it was a little worrisome. I never felt sick, and upon my arrival home tests showed that I did not have a parasite eating away at my insides. And now that I've gained more weight that I'd like, I think it's safe to say there is no tapeworm!

Medical mystery aside, I'd like to drop a few kilos.

Don't worry: I love food too much to stop eating. I just need to eat less.

The best things I did for myself to lose weight was just STOP eating when I was full. So many times I'd go out to eat and they just give you these massive amounts of food...and I was like, "I paid for this dangit, I'm gonna eat it." But I have learned the beauty of to-go boxes and leftovers. I also ran a lot and that helped like crazy. I lost over 40 pounds doing that. No crazy dieting, just plenty of exercise (40 minutes or so about 5 days a week), and stopped eating everything on my plate! Good luck! :)

Please get me on track with exercising and eating less and no white things.
