Recent things...

1. Traveled to Conway, Arkansas and spent time with a couple who is really getting involved with the work overseas. Bonus: Got to see my colleagues that I worked with over there.

2. Began reading "Breaking the Islam Code" by JD Greear to better understand my students. So far, so good! My students are super challenging at times, and I'm so thankful I have a little experience with "warm" cultures.

3. Broke out in hives. That one's a first for me! I still really don't know the cause of it, but I broke out in crazy itchy hives all over my body last Sunday night. Thankfully, God is merciful and Benadry works! 48 hours later, I was back to normal.

4. Sang and also shared with the youth at FBC Wagoner last week.

5. I've become an old boring teacher. Maybe it's the time change, but I've been going to be so early!

6. Saw "Wicked" the musical with my mom and sister-in-law.

7. Shared with 5 and 6 graders today in at Arrow Heights, Broken Arrow. They had sent me cards and remembered me. I'm so thankful for faithful prayer warriors!

8. Today, one of my students went down with chest and shoulder pain......we called 911. Wild day.

9. Tonight I lost my car keys on the running trail. When I realized I didn't have them, it had just gotten dark. After I searched and searched, borrowed a flash light from a random man at the tennis courts, and finally called my mom to come, I found them. Thank GOD!

10. Still trusting that God will guide me in this strange season of my life!

9.
